Kiwanis International is a worldwide organization, that allows men and women to take an active community and leadership and improvement role. As a group, we do achieve what individuals cannot do alone. Thus, the motto and cornerstone of Kiwanis is "WE Build".

An important Kiwanis focus is on children. Kiwanis International committees, such as Young Children: Priority One and Youth Services, effectively address children´s needs in today´s society and within the community of each Kiwanis club. Each Kiwanis Club sponsors a variety of service and fund-raising projects to meet local community needs. Each year, Kiwanis clubs worldwide typically contribute more than 22 million volunteer hours and raise $65 million dollars to successfully fund its campaigns.

Membership is by invitation. We invite active or retired business and professional people who reside, conduct their business in and have other community interests with the geographic area of a Kiwanis club.
